The female bodies that appear in my paintings are essentially a vehicle that serve to support the painting’s theme.
Initially, I was very much influenced by the contemporary artist, Clement. From Clement I learned how to achieve contemporary artistic messages on canvas with unconventional, fascinating images that evoke curiosity.
As a figure painter, I always experience a measure of tension between the model and the artwork and their interaction. In this series, I sought to create a level of tension between the figure statue or model and the balls. The challenge was to structure the composition in a manner that the main elements interact and support each other.
