As a figurative painter, I choose to celebrate the beauty of the narrative figures. In this painting, I drew on my own experience as a mother. A mother is a child’s guardian angel, closely following her offspring as if she were their shadow.
I also juxtapose my human figures with other elements such as colorful balls and columns – in both indoor and outdoor settings to reinforce the supernatural structure of the images. The colorful balls generate curiosity and excitement as well as mobile energy in their fantasy setting.
